Wow. What a year we’ve had thanks to you. We launched the Children’s ToothFairy foundation April 23 last year, and here we are a year old. A lot has happened in a short amount of time.
In November of 2007, we began servicing children. We developed a relationship with the Salvation Army to get the kids in their programs to the dentist. Our partners at UD/Mercy Dental School became the first dentist many of these kids had ever seen. I’m in touch with grateful parents who didn’t think their children would ever have a dentist to call their own without insurance.
CTFF is committed to getting children into the dental care loop. We want children of need to have access to a dentist twice a year at no cost to the child or his/her family. We want to help that child get to the dentist. We will educate parents so they understand the important link between dental hygiene and nutrition to proper health care so they can become a partner in their child’s oral health. We will save smiles while improving lives.
The leadership of CTFF is filled with the mission to build children’s smiles to last a lifetime. There lots of work to be done and lots of children are waiting for a dentist. We still need your help. Feel free to join us in Building Children’s Smiles To Last A Lifetime.
We’ve planned a special celebration/fundraiser to commemorate one year of service to children. Consider this a grown up birthday party to benefit children. We got some fun surprises for an exciting evening. We hope we can count on your support.
